Impregnated Gauze Dressing

Impregnated gauze is a sterile, non-adherent wound dressing, such as pads or strips, saturated with agents like petroleum jelly, saline, hydrogel, or bismuth (e.g., Xeroform). Used to maintain a moist environment and prevent sticking to wounds, they are commonly applied to burns, skin grafts, abrasions, and for packing deep wounds.
